FTPManager - FTP, SFTP client App Reviews

<sigh> Only when you get deep, deep into the free version do you find out its so badly crippled that you cant use it to upload files from your iPad or iPhone device to a remote FTP server - which basically is most of the reason for having an FTP client at all!! The free version feels like a con/bait-and-switch - since it takes great pains not to make this huge limitation clear right up front. Also, the English version of the manual badly needs to be re-written by someone with more proficiency in the language, since much of it isnt really comprehensible.

Not even able to upload jpgs, only add text files or folders.

I only use this to send third party books to my various e readers. It works fine sending to Kindle from outside of Kindle.

This app is just what I needed. I can access the pdf documents that I need to read for work directly from my employers server; no need to email or use any additional space in my phone. The free version only allows one ftp server at the time, but it is very easy to simply add the address for a new one if you need to connect to a different server. Truly recommend.

If they didnt cripple the non-paying users, this would be perfect. The text editor is still a little buggy, but other than that it functions properly.

I use this app to access security camera videos on my ftp server. My Foscam cameras automatically upload motion alert triggered videos to ftp server. It was super easy to configure the ftp server with this app. And this app even allows me to view videos (mkv file type) right within the app. Awesome!!! I highly recommend this very user friendly app! Thank you developers!

This is a nice app, although Im wondering why nobody makes a free ftp app that can access multiple ftp servers

There is something wOrng with the latest update. The process starts, then never completes. App icon is stuck showing a partial process indicator. The app can Not be deleted. App store shows app with the typical square inside a circle. Selecting it causes the app to be installed again, however it never finishes. iPad 3 with iOS 9.1 Help ???

App wont launch. Has generic install icon. But I was able to delete the app.

I didnt have any installation troubles like the other reviewers here. Ive been using this app for quite a while and its very helpful!
